I am the proud birthing mom of two amazing grown men, stepmom to a teenage girl, and wife to an incredible woman. As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, I am committed to creating safer and more inclusive spaces for all individuals on their journey to and through parenthood.

 

My passion for helping people give birth in a safe and respectful manner was ignited in 1998 after the birth of my first child. Since then, I have had the honour of attending the births of hundreds of babies, while working alongside thousands of families thus allowing me to grow & evolve my knowledge and expertise through experiential learning. 

 

In addition to this, I hold multiple credentials including being a Certified Fertility Coach & Educator, Birth & Postnatal Doula, Childbirth Educator, retired La Leche League Canada Leader (now sitting on the Board of Directors), & Parenting Coach. I am dedicated to staying informed and up-to-date in order to provide the best support and education to individuals and families.

 

Recognizing the importance of inclusivity and diversity in the world of childbirth and parenting, I founded babyREADY. Providing support, education and resources for the Queer community is my mission so everyone feels fully aware of and prepared for making the kinds of decisions necessary to build the family of their dreams. I am committed to empowering and supporting all individuals in their unique journey to becoming parents, and I am proud to be a part of their stories.
